Elementary School for Boys

From the first classroom in Rabbi Grossman’s home over 40 years ago in which 18 young children sat and began their journey to a bright and hopeful future, today the Elementary school for Boys is located in the very first building constructed for Migdal Ohr.  Here, these youngsters, mostly from North African countries learn both secular and Jewish subjects in a warm and supportive environment.  A unique and beautiful feature of this school are the benches in the main study hall; since the 1970’s the very same benches and desks has been used by literally thousands of boys.  When you come and visit you will see that they are still in excellent condition, with virtually not scribbling on them – which attests to the care and appreciation the boys have for their school and Rabbi Grossman.
